Well, this is interesting: According to THR, the Coen brothers have signed on to do a rewrite of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg’s untitled Cold War thriller. The original script was written by Matt Charman and follows the true story of an attorney named James Donovan (Hanks) who negotiated with the KGB to save the life of a downed spy plane pilot. While Spielberg has a few options for his next directorial venture — including Montezuma and Robopocalypse — this one may have just skyrocketed to the top of the list.
