Spike has green-lit a six-hour miniseries about King Tutankhamun, the network announced today. This will mark Spike's first scripted programming in almost a decade, and the pumped-up biopic is supposed to film this fall and is scheduled to to air in 2015. Tut — yes — comes from the same production company that brought us The Kennedys and Pillars of Earth, but there's no cast, writer, or director attached just yet. Probably because the production is cursed? This is how mummy curses work: They banish your production to a low-end cable station best known for its wrestling programming.
