When the news came out earlier this month that Emma Stone was set to star in Woody Allen’s next movie, we wondered if she was the director’s new muse. With the release of the Magic in the Moonlight trailer, we can see why she would be. MitM is a classic Woody Allen high-concept, period romantic comedy, with Stone playing a very charming medium and Colin Firth playing a very charming skeptic. (It’s kind of like Jack and Locke on Lost, but like, super cute.) It’s all set in the very charming 1920s South of France. It hits theaters on July 25 and will probably be — you guessed it — very charming.
