Bob’s Burgers is a show of small pleasures, whether it is a burger pun, fart joke, exclamation, or a song sung over the closing credits. Last night’s episode was a perfect example of the latter, with Linda belting a torch song set to a James Bond/Saul Bass–like title sequence. The episode, entitled “Wharf Horse (or How Bob Saves/Destroys the Town - Part I),” followed Bob’s mission to have a beachside burger joint. See the exciting conclusion, in next week’s season finale, “World Wharf II: The Wharfening.” That title is another small pleasure.
