Back in April, we learned that HBO planned to bring back Project Greenlight, with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck returning as producers. This means they now need you, aspiring director. In the video below, Damon and Affleck request submissions and are forever cute together. The chosen first-time director will try his or her hand at directing a “Hollywood-vetted script,” with the help of experienced producers, directors, and other friends of these two. Generally, it’s the same idea as the early-aughts version, but technology has advanced and now the director will have Batman in their corner, instead of Daredevil. Nothing against Daredevil, but even with super hearing, he can’t watch dailies.
