On Friday, Katy Perry shared a photo of her and Hillary Clinton at a book-signing event, along with an offer to write Clinton a “theme” song, “if she needs it.” Today, Clinton reacted warmly to Perry’s offer via Twitter, praising the singer — whose number one hit was already featured in a video by the Ready for Hillary Super PAC — while managing to fit in both a “Roar” pun and a Hard Choices pun in her response. While the book may have had its shortcomings, Clinton remains a master of 140-character diplomacy.
