Louis C.K. Compares Boxing to Standup in This Old ‘Chewed Up’ DVD Extra

Here’s an old self-interview extra from Louis C.K.’s 2008 special Chewed Up that was recently posted to YouTube. C.K answers a bunch of questions about the special, how he got started as a comedian in Boston, his opinion on hecklers, and (around the 29:40 mark) what made him take up boxing and how it’s helped his standup: “First, I wanted to find out how much it hurts to box, and then I wanted to find out how do you take that pain and stay with it and have a plan? And I’ve learned a huge amount from it.”
