Seth Rogen Wants to Make a ‘Neighbors’ Sequel Happen

With the box office success of Seth Rogen’s newest movie Neighbors, the comedy film star said at a Warner Bros. panel over the weekend that he’s currently “having a lot of discussions” to make a sequel with his producing partners Evan Goldberg and James Weaver. Rogen also emphasized that the trio will continue to specialize in “low budget R-rated comedies” following Rogen’s decision to cut Neighbors’ budget in half to $18 million to ward off studio exec interference: “At least we didn’t make a movie we hate and had to work on for a year and a half.” At the panel, Rogen also confirmed that he’s currently “attempting to pull together” his buddy cop comedy Jazz Cops costarring Kevin Hart, which has been in development since 2012.
