BBC America Renews Orphan Black, Broadchurch

No surprises here: BBC America has announced that their flagship series Orphan Black has been picked up for a third ten-episode season scheduled to air in spring 2015. The cable network also picked up the crime drama Broadchurch for a second season, and put two brand new dramas into production. The first new offering is Tatau, a mystery series from the makers of Being Human that follows two British tourists who discover a dead body while traveling in the South Pacific. There’s also a period drama called The Last Kingdom from the makers of Downton Abbey, which is based on Bernard Cornwell’s franchise The Saxon Stories. It’s described as “a show full of heroic deeds and epic battles” set during the Dothraki Viking invasion of Westeros England. How do you say “Valar morghulis” in Anglo-Saxon?
