While promoting his new show Star Wars Rebels at Comic-Con, ‘90s heartthrob turned obscure pop-culture curio Freddie Prinze Jr. had some choice words to share about former 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland, telling ABC News: “I did 24, it was terrible. I hated every moment of it. I just wanted to quit the business after that.” He continued: “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face. I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.”

The insults then took on a bizarrely personal bent, with Prinze Jr. adding: “I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE, for Christ’s sake … but, at least he was cool and tall. I didn’t have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which they made me do [at 24]. Just put the guy on an apple box or don’t hire me next time. You know, I’m 6 feet and he’s 5’4”.” For what it’s worth, Sutherland is apparently five foot nine, although we guess height is in the eye of the beholder? (Just kidding, it’s totally quantifiable!)

Sutherland’s rep responded to the comments in a statement to The Wrap, in which he opted to avoid dirtying himself in the mudslinging. “Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr. more than five years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie’s grievances,” the statement reads. “Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best.” The allegations about Sutherland’s stature, for now, remain unverified.
