Sons of Anarchy returns for its final season on September 9 (with a 90-minute episode), and this new trailer has, well, exactly what you expect from SOA: Bikes! Gunshots! Punch sounds! Knives, tattoos, garish highlights, a wailing soundtrack, sad hoodies. Ominous koans. Sunglasses. Extremely ratty beards. A body being dropped into a hole. CCH Pounder getting serious. For any other show, the inclusion of both barrels and hay bales could lend an unfortunate paintball-facility-vibe to everything, but that’s brought back to the dark side by all of SOA’s talk of revenge.
