It’s amazing how much better a dancer Taylor Swift is when she’s onstage at the VMAs (as opposed to sitting in the crowd). At tonight’s show, Tay hopped around in a Roaring ‘20s-ish, Great Gastby–style production of “Shake It Off” while a bunch of sequin-clad trombone players and men in tuxedos followed her around the stage. It was peppy, it had no twerking, and it was introduced by noted Swift BFF Lorde. Shout out to Miley Cyrus, who looks super bored.
