Standup Tommy Johnagin might be getting his own Everybody Loves Raymond-style sitcom. Deadline reports that Johnagin has teamed up with $h*! My Dad Says/Surviving Jack co-creators Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker to create a multi-cam comedy for CBS based on his life with Bill Lawrence signed on to executive produce. The untitled series – which has received a pilot commitment – stars Johnagin “as a standup comic raising a family in a small Midwestern town.” Johnagin also had a similar pilot co-written with My Name Is Earl writer Mike Pennie in development at NBC in 2012.
