Married and You’re the Worst have both been renewed for 13-episode second seasons, FX announced today. Worst will move to FXX for its second season, while Married will stay with the mother ship. (Don’t read too much into it; FXX is designed to appeal to younger viewers, which YTW did. Also, your DVR doesn’t care what channel things are on.) Worst is a far better show than Married and was one of the highlights of the summer — hilarious and dark, cynical without being suffocating. Hurry back! Married, please use this time to focus on specifics, since a general “wah, I don’t get enough blow jobs” mind-set isn’t enough to support an entire series.
