While visiting the Today show this morning, Amy Poehler revealed a sad bit of news: Next year’s Golden Globes will be the “third and final” time she would host the ceremony alongside best pal Tina Fey. Apparently even the most universally beloved shtick has to end sometime. “It’s the law of diminishing returns,” Poehler said. “Unless you want to be a perennial host, there’s nowhere to go but down!” In 2013, Fey told Entertainment Weekly that the pair’s third stint hosting the show would just be “a long highlight reel of the [first] two times we did it,” and you can get a preview of that highlight reel right here.
