Looks like Leonardo DiCaprio won’t be donning the black turtleneck after all: The Hollywood Reporter writes that DiCaprio has dropped out of the running to play Steve Jobs in the forthcoming, as-yet-untitled Aaron Sorkin–penned biopic helmed by Danny Boyle, adding that DiCaprio plans to take a break from acting after he finishes up with Alejandro González Iñárritu’s The Revenant. Apparently Sony is considering other potential contenders, including Christian Bale — who was originally eyed for the title role back when David Fincher was slated to direct — and a whole bunch of other eligible leading men including Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Bradley Cooper. Maybe they could do an I’m Not There–type thing where they all take turns?
