While being interviewed by the New York Times about Interstellar, Anne Hathaway managed to casually drop in the fact that she read the film’s script twice in three hours. Brag about it, Anne! (She was reading it in Christopher Nolan’s library, which we like to imagine is full of clocks for some reason.) Matthew McConaughey, also being interviewed, went through it a little bit slower: “It took me five and a half hours.” If you do the math, that means Hathaway can read a film script at three times the pace of Matthew McConaughey. Or, more likely, that she only read her own scenes.
