‘Mission Control’ Canceled by NBC Due to Casting Issues

One of NBC’s new comedies has been killed off before even making it to the airwaves. THR reports that ‘60s space-set workplace comedy Mission Control starring Krysten Ritter and produced by Will Ferrell’s Gary Sanchez has been yanked from the network’s lineup before its midseason premiere. Sources close to the project told THR that the show had “casting issues” in some of the supporting roles and “ultimately decided to scrap the series completely.” Gary Sanchez’s other NBC comedy Bad Judge premiered on the network earlier this month.
