Shia LaBeouf Was Not a Huge Fan of Jail, and He’s Sorry About Spitting on a Cop

With a huge beard and a bit of clarity, Shia LaBeouf came on Ellen to talk about his new movie, Fury, but she also brought up all of the other “interesting” stuff he’s done recently: “I just learned … that you’ve had quite an interesting life in the past year or so,” Ellen begins, referring to Shia’s various arrests, public displays of whatever, and still-confusing performance art. “I went through like an existential crisis, which turned into kind of like some exploration, really. I had some hiccups, you know. Some judgment errors.” Sure! But at least he learned something: “Jail is quite scary … I spit on a cop, that’s a no-no. I’m sorry! I was crazy, man.”
