Almost two months after Alfonso Ribeiro Carlton-ed his heart out on DWTS, he now has a Mirror Ball Trophy to show for it. The former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor and his partner, Witney Carson, were announced as the winners of the show’s 19th season tonight, eking the victory out over runners-up Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas. “It’s unbelievable to sit here and work so hard … finally to be here,” Ribeiro said afterward. “I got the perfect partner in Witney, and this was a magical, amazing experience. Wow!”
“I remember watching the show when I was really little,” Carson, 21, added. “Winning it? It’s so surreal; it’s amazing.” Ribeiro also said tonight that he and Carson were joining the DWTS live tour, which will kick off after Christmas and send the competitors dancing across the country.
