Ariana Grande, a talented young vocalist, and Jessie J, the human "fetch," are set to collaborate for a second time. Producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins reveals that the duo are working on a cover of Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine" as part of his upcoming 20th-anniversary project. The big question, of course, is who will get the Brandy part and who will get the Monica part. (Just kidding — the question is whether Jessie J will even try to ask for the Brandy part.) Either way, Mekhi Pfifer is probably available to reprise his role as the Boy. Also on the docket for Darkchild's anniversary: Sam Smith covering Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right, But It's Okay" very reverently, we're sure. Gentrification is real.
