IFC Is Developing a Show Starring David Krumholtz as a Jewish Grandmother

IFC just announced they’re developing a new show, and it sounds pretty strange. In a press release today, the network revealed that they’ve ordered a presentation for a new comedy series called Gigi’s Bucket List, which stars David Krumholtz as “72-year-old Jewish grandmother ‘Gigi’ from Boca Raton, FL pursuing everything she deprived herself of throughout her life after discovering millions in her dead husband’s bank account.” No more details on the project have been released yet, but Krumholtz has played Gigi before for the web site Weather From and based the character on his own grandmother. In the meantime Krumholtz has several upcoming projects in the works including a voice role in Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s animated film Sausage Party due out in 2016.
