Everyone and Their Cousins Watched the New Star Wars Teaser This Thanksgiving

People watched the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser more than 58 million times since its Black Friday debut, giving it the best first week of any preview ever. Or at least since 2005, when YouTube was invented. Still, according to digital-marketing agency Zefr, which is trying to do for trailers what the rest of the world does for actual box-office numbers, this puts the teaser on track to become the most-streamed preview ever, proving that, yes, people do still like Star Wars, and also that there is not a whole lot of other stuff to do the morning after Thanksgiving. In the competition to become the most popular video on all of YouTube, the Force Awakens teaser is approximately 2,093,187,103 views behind Psy's "Gangnam Style."
