Community alum Donald Glover might be making a big return to television. Deadline reports that FX has given a pilot order to a comedy created by and starring Glover called Atlanta, which will follow “two cousins on their way up through the Atlanta rap scene whose opposing views on art versus commerce, success and race will make their quest anything but easy.” In addition to serving as an executive producer on the pilot, Glover will also star as “Earnest ‘Earn’ Marks,” a “college drop-out who reconnects with his long buried ambition and sets out to seize the life he imagined for himself when his estranged cousin becomes a sudden star.” Atlanta has been in development at FX since August 2013.
