Like True Detective, Fargo has picked up a rom-com heroine and a former cast member from Friday Night Lights to anchor its second season. EW is reporting that Kirsten Dunst will play "a small town beautician with big city dreams" in 1979 Minnesota, with Jesse Plemons as the husband "who wants to be supportive of his wife's self-discovery, even if he doesn't quite understand it." So, basically, it's an FNL fan-fic that imagines what would have happened if Landry ended up with Tyra. Sold.
