NBC Kills Its Thursday Night Comedy Block, Sets March Premieres for ‘Undateable’ and ‘One Big Happy’

NBC’s Thursday night comedy block is officially dead. The network announced its midseason schedule today, which includes drama-filled Thursday nights and two multi-cam comedies set to premiere on Tuesday nights. Bill Lawrence’s new sitcom Undateable will return for a second season on Tuesday, March 17th at 9:00pm followed by the series premiere of the Ellen DeGeneres-produced One Big Happy. NBC’s other recent comedy hit Marry Me recently landed an expanded season order and will return “later in the season,” though an exact date has not yet been announced.
