Here’s a brand new video from Funny or Die starring Scott Thompson as his beloved Kids in the Hall character Buddy Cole, who decides to host the first ever Buddy Cole’s Real People’s Film Festival after the Toronto International Film Festival rejects the “dance-Western-non-musical” he lovingly made about “a young gay Indian lad during the wild wild west who’s too, too spirited for his tribe.” It’s a shame that TIFF doesn’t have the courage to include powerful films like Cole’s, but at least he found some regular people who appreciate his art as much as he does.
