It’s not that strange to imagine Nic Cage taking out Osama bin Laden. Or at least wanting to. That’s why he’s been cast to play Gary Faulkner, reports Deadline, the subject of a fascinating GQ profile who, as a “50-year-old ex-con … traveled to the most volatile region of Pakistan to capture Osama bin Laden.” The film’s called Army of One and will be directed by Larry Charles — the same guy who did Borat and so many episodes of Seinfeld — which means we’re likely getting something funny. Or at least something that’s funny on purpose.
