Neil Patrick Harris doing a megamusical number at the Oscars was pretty much a foregone conclusion, and now it’s a done deal: Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the Oscar-winning husband-and-wife duo who wrote the songs for Frozen, are writing a song for NPH, the parties announced today. Robert Lopez is an EGOT (daytime Emmys count!) who co-wrote Avenue Q and The Book of Mormon, and Harris is certainly no slouch in the song-and-dance department. Will anything ever top “Bigger,” the 2013 Tony opener written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Tom Kitt? We shall see.
