Spike Lee raised $1.4 million on Kickstarter to make the I-swear-it’s-not-a-vampire-movie Da Sweet Blood of Jesus, and now he’s returning to the internet for the film’s release. Sweet Blood will start streaming today on Vimeo VOD, a month before it hits theaters. This is one of the most high-profile projects yet to premiere on VOD ahead of its theatrical release.
