Former Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson might star in his own ABC sitcom. Entertainment Weekly reports that Ferguson has joined the cast of The King of 7B, a single-cam comedy about a recluse who “ventures outside for the first time in 20 years when he spies what could be his soul mate moving into the building across the street.” Ferguson will play the lead role and joins previously announced cast members Carla Jimenez and Kirby Howell-Baptiste. Howard Franklin will write and executive produce alongside Dan Fogelman and former Daily Show EP/Colbert Report co-creator Ben Karlin.
