Many of us are worried about what an Iggy Azalea win for Best Rap Album would mean at the Grammys Sunday night. And it turns out that Azalea knows there will be a backlash if she wins: “I think backlash comes no matter what skin color you are,” she told MTV News when asked if she thinks the reaction will be similar to that of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’s sweep of the 2014 awards ceremony. “Success is polarizing and you just can’t have one without the other. That’s something that comes with it. It’s the price you pay for having all the amazing things that you’re afforded and if that is the price you pay for a Grammy, I will sign that check.” The struggle is real, mate.
