Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder tweeted out the first picture of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman late Thursday night. “There is only one true King. #unitetheseven,” Snyder wrote, alluding either to the seven seas idiom, the initial superhero septet in DC’s Justice League comics, or an upcoming partnership with Skittles. Momoa’s waterlogged khal will ride waves (which is great if you think about it, because it’s tougher to call someone out for falling while they’re in water) in BvS as well as Snyder’s two future Justice League films. BvS rolls out March 25 of next year, with promises of badassery.
