As Mad Men's final season approaches, it is perhaps time to look at other shows and other projects for the series' prodigious cast. Vulture caught up with Kiernan Shipka at the Art Directors Guild Awards to see if she had any plans for the future — and any idea where Sally might find herself down the road.
Shipka said, "I mean, I think Sally is a real rock star. She's got a lot of great qualities about her. She's a really strong person. She really has the mentality to go very far. I know that she's gonna be alright. I was always so focused in the moment, what the script was. I've always had faith in her."
As for her own onscreen future, well, she's looking for a change of pace. "Personally, I love comedy. I love Veep right now. I think it's super fun. It'd be super fun [to be on a comedy]! Sign me up! I'm down." Maybe it's time for Anna Chlumsky's Amy to have a little sister?
