The Best New YouTube Music Awards Videos, Including FKA Twigs, Action Bronson, Charli XCX, and More

The YouTube Music Awards return this year, after taking a year off following its slightly disastrous inaugural show in 2013. This year, instead of being live-streamed on YouTube (duh), today the site has simultaneously premiered nine new original music videos for artists ranging from Ed Sheeran to YouTube star Megan Nicole. Some are expectedly better than others (Action Bronson, for example, spoofs Coming to America with Chance the Rapper), while others are just awesomely random (Ray Liotta stars as an aging, alcoholic, former rock star in Ed Sheeran’s). And then there’s FKA twigs, who, forever committed to paving her own lane, has created a video that can only be described as a total mind-fuck. (Let’s just say it involves her quite literally giving birth to dance.) Watch some of the best videos below.
