A ‘Punk’d’ Revival Is in the Works at BET

Ashton Kutcher’s MTV prank show Punk’d is heading back to television. According to THR, BET is reviving the series for a new version “tailored for the BET audience” that will feature a “behind-the-scenes look at how the celebrity pranks are conceptualized and carried through.” No host has been announced yet. The original series ran on MTV from 2003-2007 and was briefly revived for a ninth season in 2012. Punk’d joins Celebrity Deathmatch as the latest MTV series set for a TV reboot.
