NBC Will Release Every Aquarius Episode Online

NBC’s going stream-crazy and making all 13 episodes of David Duchovny’s Aquarius binge-able after the show’s May 28 premiere. The series will be available on NBC.com, as well as the NBC app and all other VOD platforms, after its two-hour kickoff, according to the network. “We are fully aware how audiences want to consume multiple episodes of new television series faster and at their own discretion, and we’re excited to offer our viewers this same experience since all 13 episodes of this unique show have been produced and are ready to be seen,” said NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt in a statement. With the move, NBC’s pioneering ground for broadcast networks, in terms of streaming; it’s also working to change the ad game, with limited interruptions and an exclusive group of advertising partners. The episodes will stay online for four weeks, while each new installation continues to unspool weekly on NBC. Basically, it’s like a four-week-long Snapchat from Netflix. Mark those weeks in May and June on your calendar so you don’t miss this.
