After over a year in development, Matthew Warchus and Tim Minchin’s Groundhog Day musical finally has a date attached. Variety reports that the musical remake of the classic 1993 film is set to begin previews on January 23, 2017 with a Broadway debut set for March 9, 2017. Minchin recently previewed one of his Groundhog Day songs at a Sydney Opera House performance, which you can check out below:
