ABC Not Moving Forward with Jermaine Fowler’s Pilot ‘Delores & Jermaine’

Standup Jermaine Fowler’s in-the-works sitcom Delores & Jermaine isn’t headed to TV – at least not on ABC. “Well, the Delores & Jermaine pilot didn’t get picked up, but I’m so damn proud of how funny it came out,” Fowler tweeted last night. “Thanks ABC. Off to cable now.” Fowler starred in the pilot with Whoopi Goldberg as his “strict, football-loving, former D.C. cop” grandmother, and Jennia Fredrique, Roy Wood Jr., Gary Perez, and Christina Moore rounded out the cast.

Pilots still in the running at ABC include Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo’s Chevy (formerly titled Chev & Bev), Ken Jeong’s Dr. Ken, Fortune Feimster’s Tina Fey-produced show Family Fortune, The 46 Percenters, The King of 7B starring Craig Ferguson, Uncle Buck starring Mike Epps, and Johnny Knoxville’s semi-autobiographical comedy.
