Over a year ago, Comedy Central ordered an animated pilot from Bento Box Entertainment called Legends, and today Deadline reports that the show has officially landed a 10-episode series order. Co-created by Simpsons animator Brad Abelson, The Life & Times of Tim’s Mike Clements, Michael Starrbury, and sports show producers Quinn Hawking and Josiah Johnson, Legends – now titled Legends of Chamberlain Heights – follows three high school freshman named Jamal, Grover, and Milk (voiced by Hawking and Johnson) who “tackle life with some wins and some losses, but failure doesn’t faze them since they’re legends…even if it’s just in their own minds.” The series is slated to premiere sometime next year.
