Longtime friends and collaborators Conan O’Brien and Greg Daniels have a new show in the works at TBS. According to THR, the network has ordered a comedy from O’Brien and Daniels called The Group, which follows ” a support group for people who think they have been abducted by aliens, which is the subject of a snarky feature piece by skeptical journalist Wyatt Jones. The more he digs into the oddballs’ claims, however, the more confused, intrigued and seduced he becomes.” O’Brien and Daniels will co-executive produce.
The network also picked up the “Lost-meets-Gilligan’s Island” comedy Wrecked, which will join upcoming new series Angie Tribeca from Steve and Nancy Carell and road trip comedy The Detour starring Jason Jones.
