Back in March, Will Ferrell filmed an HBO special during baseball spring training for charity, and today the pay-network revealed the special’s title and premiere date. Called Ferrell Takes the Field, the special will follow Ferrell as he plays every position on the field, for ten different teams, in one day. Funny or Die is co-producing the special with Major League Baseball, and it’s all for a good cause through Cancer for College. The special airs on HBO Saturday, September 12th at 10:00pm.
