Colin Quinn has two new projects in the works: a new book out this week called The Coloring Book and a Jerry Seinfeld-directed show at New York’s Cherry Lane Theatre this summer called Colin Quinn The New York Story, so he visited last night’s Daily Show to promote both, where he asked Jon Stewart whether or not he plans to return to standup. “I wanna come back to the Cellar, it’s the greatest place,” Stewart says. “I gotta get down there. You know why? I’m feeling a little too good about myself these days … You need to go to a basement and have a table of people from Queens who came in for the night and don’t think you’re shit tell you who you are. That’s what I need.”
