Kanye Raps About Charleston Tragedy

By

At this weekend's Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash concert in Atlanta, Kanye West performed a freestyle that referenced last week's mass shooting at a historic black church in Charleston, South Carolina. After repeating, "Don't let them make you believe that I'm crazy," a few times, West addressed Charleston: "See, that's the magic of racism, it works on itself / We hate each other, screw each other, kill each other / When we can't kill nobody else / See, that's the magic of lack of resources, it works on itself / 500 niggas getting pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-popped, and North Carolina didn't help / See, that's the magic of racism, it works on itself."
