Deadline reports that Disney’s sequel to 2014’s Maleficent is starting to take shape. Linda Woolverton will return to write the script, while Angelina Jolie has reportedly been kept “in the loop” to reprise her role of the fairy turned villain turned awesome foster mom. No word yet on whether or not Elle Fanning will also be brought back onboard, but we’d totally watch a spinoff of a spinoff with just Angelina and her raven (played in the first film by Sam Riley) meddling in other people’s business. Maybe it’ll end up on Netflix, too.
