In two weeks, Miguel will release his long-awaited follow-up to 2012's Kaleidescope Dream, a.k.a. the album a lot of babies born in 2013 were conceived to. As an incredibly generous treat, Miguel made five of his new songs available for instant download last night to anyone who preordered Wildheart. And for us cheap fans, he's put them up on YouTube. Two of those, "Hollywood Dreams" and "NWA," we've heard before, on his nwa.hollywooddreams.coffee EP released late last year. The rest, "Face the Sun," which features Lenny Kravitz on a slow-building guitar line, "...goingtohell," and "Flesh," further position Miguel as his generation's Prince — rock-tinged soul, musings on making love, and an appreciation of the power of the female body all included. But if you just came for an "Arch & Point" sequel, "Flesh" doesn't skimp on the NSFW summer heat. Wildheart is out June 30. Book a hotel room that day with someone who makes you feel sexy, and thank Miguel later.
Update: And now you can also roll around in bed with Miguel, or just watch him do that, in his just-released video for "Coffee."
