Raven-Symoné officially joined The View last week, to serve as the de facto millennial voice and oft-frustrating devil’s advocate on hot-button issues. (See: yesterday’s defense of Rachel Dolezal.) Though the former Cosby kid (and, most recently, Jamal’s beard and faux baby mama on Empire) says she doesn't really like going out, she did make an appearance at the TrevorLive New York benefit Monday night to help LGBTQ youth in crisis. While there, she took a moment to chat with Vulture about her new gig, how she doesn’t actually “disagree” with anyone, and why she wants Caitlyn Jenner to stop by the show.

Congratulations on The View. So, what are you most excited to talk about on the show?
I’m most excited about getting into the meat of topics that I’ve normally never talked about before because I’ve been so young for so long. I feel now that I’m old enough, I can speak about it more and not feel judged as much. So just tackling issues, everyday topics, and learning new things.

Who among your co-hosts do you think you disagree with the most?
You know what? I don’t disagree with anybody because I believe that everybody’s view is their own and I shouldn’t be like, “That’s wrong.” So I’m more of an understanding [person] and [say], “Let me understand your point of view.” I might not agree, but I don’t bring it up that much. You have a right to your opinion and I’ve had too many people coming for me, so I won’t come anybody else.

You’ve said that you would love to get Caitlyn Jenner on the show. How’s that coming?
We have to keep pushing it out there. I’m sure she’s very busy. She’s probably going to be on Time next. We’re just The View.
