Dwayne Johnson is looking at starring in and producing a Big Trouble in Little China remake, the Wrap reports. The Rock would play Jack Burton, the protagonist-slash-trucker who gets sucked into a “centuries-old mystical battle” in San Francisco’s Chinatown. John Carpenter’s cult classic has X-Men: First Class scribes Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz onboard to pen the script. Big Trouble is reportedly one of Johnson’s favorite movies — no pressure. Bring on the muscular wisecracks and slapstick.
