Never mind that the entire catalogue of Friends is available on Netflix, or that it has been in syndication for the better part of your conscious life, there are those of you who are still downloading Friends episodes, and Warner Bros. wants you to stop. Torrent Freak reports that the studio has been sending notices to such individuals, like this person who downloaded season two’s “The One With Five Steaks and an Eggplant” (Really?). “Although WB understands and appreciates that you are a fan of its content, the unauthorized uploading and downloading of its copyrighted content is a serious matter,” the notice read. “The damage to WB from your conduct substantially exceeds $20, but in the interest of having you stop your infringement of WB content permanently, WB is prepared to make you this settlement offer.” We know, we know: Could this be any more annoying?
