“Now that I’ve filed for bankruptcy … I’m not as cool as I was last week,” 50 "Curtis Jackson" Cent told the Manhattan Supreme Court Tuesday, "Page Six" reports. He is referring to last week's news that he filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Connecticut. Though he joked about it on Conan soon after, Jackson asserted today that he isn't and never was as well-off as he rapped to be.

“It’s like music videos," he tried to explain. "You see all these fancy cars but everything goes back to the dealership." He also said that his jewelry was borrowed and would be returned to the jeweler after he used it. Despite estimations over $100 million, Jackson said he is not worth more than $4.4 million, a number that is noticeably less than the $5 million a civil court ordered him to pay in damages to Lastonia Leviston, the woman whom he posted a sex tape of online. Though Jackson admitted to getting paid well for acting and live performances, his lawyer asserted that with debts, Jackson's bank account is approaching zero.
